Thanks for the comment Rony; however we at pikliz are working assiduously to identify each and everyone in every photo. It is an enormous task since some of photos were sent to us by various people. On the contrary we are asking everyone to help in posting comments identifying some of the students or perhaps correcting some misidentifications. Thanks again for your interest in Pikliz.

Francois Duvalier prononçant son discours d' inauguration de l' aéroport à Maïs Gaté le 22 Jan. 1962.

The airport opened in 1965 not in 1962 (if my memory is correct) as Francois Duvalier International Airport. Following the fall of Jean Claude Duvalier in 1986, it was renamed "Port - au - Prince International Airport" and later renamed as "Toussaint Louverture International Airport" in 2003. By the way great album and great work Mr. Morone.

    Rev. Antoine Adrien

    Victory A. C, 1967

Victory was the symbol of excellence.

Frantz Pierre, simply, a scoring machine. I remember him in second division. His presence was a nightmarish time for the opposing team.

Mil thanks for posting these memories.
    Peace.

    Victory S.C, 1961

    A constellation of stars!!!!!

Perhaps the best Haitian team that ever strolled an athletic field. Legagneur, Faublas, Morin, Formose, Brea, Albi assembled a wealth of talent in the back;Ti Pierre, Ti Claude, Tabuto, Singer were the best strikers in the league.

Chardin of the "Aigle Noir" and Ti Guy of "Etoile" were comparable in talent

I was a kid. However young I was, I could not miss this show of talent. Victory was alos a team "de mon quartier."

Hope that all is well with these gentlemen.
