Manny. i just stumbled on this picture and all of a sudden it brought so many memories. In those days my friends and i from St Louis and Seminaire ,. used to hide somewhere just to see them coming out of school.Yolande Lespinasse was not only the most beautiful girl in town, but the most beautiful thing, period. These girls are now 57 ,58 years old, mothers and maybe grand mothers By the way this the class of 1966 ,1967. it is a shame that only 5 of them are being identified. They can do better than that. Maryse Gardere is in Haiti a great pediatrician,I am sure she can spend some minutes to identify her friends in this picture. Thank you again Emmanuel Ardouin for the memories reply

Mrs. Colbert, You are right! You have idied the right person as Georges Colbert Jr. I am sorry to hear that he passed away. I cannot find any pixs of our most recent years at St-Louis. What a coincidence, if I remember well my mom and his mom each owned a store next to each other on Blvd Jn-Jacques Dessalines (Grand'Rue). They maintained very good relationship. Georges used to be very lively in our class. He loved to play soccer. Thank you for sharing with us, and if I find anything I will post it on this site. All the best! reply

Gagy A brain of his own a Genious, well I heard that Rekin was going to donate him some instrument to teach the disavantaged musicians in Haiti to teach them latin rythms especially horns instruments because Rekin said we lack great Horns players because thes instruments are very expensive that he had them to creat a new breed of Horns musicians that he was tired of seen Extranjeros/ Foreingners doing so ,ask Gaguy if you think that lying or Toto laraque. T his shark is a real Full Haitian even he expresses himself very well Spanish, French and Papamiento. reply

I remember exactly the phrases that were written on this picture "yo vendi acredito yo vendi alcontado". Years ago, the person at the counter explained to me the meanings of the words or phrases on this picture, and I never forgot. As I was a curious child, she told me "yo vendi acredito", means sales that were made to customers for a certain period in which cash was not paid at the time of sale. She also took the time to tell me "yo vendi alcontado" means sales that were made to customers for which cash was paid or involved. As I said, I was a child, and these phrases never got out of my mind. Well, I'm grown now, and this picture still means a lot to me in a lot of ways. In fact, I learned something greatly from this picture, and it leads me at every part and every moment of my success. reply
